Week 7 EOC: The Pitch

Oh snap it’s chocolate, but its White Chocolate! My chocolate will blow your mind. “White Tie” a chocolate shaped like a tuxedo with a flavored spunk of strawberry syrup inside. The chocolate will be 4 inches long it will be a chocolate bar sealed in a wrapper shaped like a tuxedo with colorful balloons on the outside and on the inside of the some of the wrapper will be winning vacations to go out and have a blast in a different state or city. It will have a vintage font going horizontal on the bar saying, “White Tie”. This product will be sold in chocolate stores and in some convenient stores. I would have it shipped to different states so that everyone can have the amazing taste and a wild imagination of a party just like P.Diddy in the Hampton's. Everyone's going to want to buy this chocolate, who wouldn't want to win a vacation?

Week 6 EOC: Me x 3

As a fashion student I am all about clothing and the way I present my self. I always pay close attention to peoples apparel sometimes because I feel like the way a persons dresses is the way their personality is. I really emphasize on a lot of things that I wear and I like to buy clothing all the time even if I don’t have the money to spend. Buying clothing is an addiction. I literally buy clothing sometimes just to make me happy or I find an excuse to buy something. My favorite place to buy clothing for my self is Forever 21. I feel as if there clothing is a variety of different styles. It’s what I want!

In addition to that I love to work out on my free time. It releases a lot of stress and thoughts from your mind. As a college student living on my own and moving from a different state miles and miles away I catch my self-thinking about my family a lot. So to get my mine off of things working out is my number one. When you work out it’s all about what you wear, and what can prevent you from holding in sweat. As a sales associate at Nike Factory. Its like my second family, its where I go to interact with people and get a big era of different personality’s and learning of things. Nike is what I wear when I work out. Knowing their product and understanding the process what the product goes through. I love it and I wear it all the time.

Last but not least, my favorite product that I can’t live without is my Mascara! Oh, how I love to use it. I always buy extra mascara every time I go shopping for my cosmetics. I buy Maybelline. I haven’t switched to a different brand because I love the way Maybelline makes my eyelashes look. I feel more natural.

Week 5 EOC: Social Networks and Job Hunting

As years pass there’s always something new with technology it gets better and there is a lot more details within the product. A buyer’s behavior is often different when buying what they want and buying what they need. As of my understanding when a buyer wants something they really don’t care how much it is they want it their going to get it. On the other hand if the buyer needs something for their household, groceries, children, or car difficulties they find the cheapest supplies or greatest deals so they don’t spend a lot of money. “Consumers hear about products and brand experiences from others just like themselves—people they trust—rather than from commercial marketing sources. “It’s the value of having someone there who wants to talk to you about the product and the features,” says one brand ambassador. “It’s not really about sales; it is about sharing of information. This is a perfect example on how to get more consumers into your business. With customers talking about your serve within your business gives them more of a reason why more people should enter the environment. Week 4 EOC: There’s an app for that

As an individual owning the smart phone as many of us do, weather it be an iPhone or an Android, they hold many things to entertain us. Such as, Internet, Games, speed and download apps, either for a couple dollars or for free. For class this week we have to come up with an app that we as an individual would buy or find interesting. As for my idea my app would be called “Lost In A Lie”. My app would be able to figure out if a person is lying to you or not.

How this app would work would be to have someone put his or her finger on the phone witch would look like a fingerprint. Have a person ask a question to the person whose finger is on the phone while the other person is asking it the phone would be able to hear the question being asked calculate the persons vibe, the heat of their body change with the answer also their tone of voice will take play and it can tell you if that person is lying or not. This app would be open to everyone that has a Smartphone then you would be able to download it starting at $2.00, and there will be a free app but you would be able to use it for only a certain amount of time. With this app you can open it up while you’re on the phone and it can work while talking to the other individual.

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

-I would have to definitely agree with my demographic. Coming into this world in the year of 1992, growing up within the years i've always had a cell phone since i was in 7th grade. I recently upgraded to a SmartPhone the beginning of 2012 . I got a SmartPhone just because i wanted one and everyone had one. Now that i have a SmartPhone it makes me realize how people lose that personal contact, such as hanging out with friends, shopping at the store, when your at work, in class, at a game, or even visiting family. There's always something your going to notice, about more than half the people in that room or area are on their cell phone, why? because that block in there hand has extreme information they can find with in two minutes or even just posting things or communicating with others on Facebook, twitter, blogging, texting, facetime etc. i can't live without my phone its my everything it has everything i need on it. I definitely see a big difference within the years.

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group- Videogames

I was a child who grew up with Nintendo Game Boy Advance. I got my first one when I was about ten-years-old; I could never get my hands off of it. As I grew up they came out with the new DSI then a DSI with a camera and so on and so fourth. As for me being the oldest I see how technology over powering and becoming more and more advance. Kids in this generation really don’t play with toys, such as Barbie dolls, cars, bikes, puzzles, game board games etc. This just comes to show that many people now are all caught up in playing with electronically devices. There’s so much that’s going on with the gaming market right now that you really don’t know where to start. As for that being said , “For the overall 2011 market software sales were down 6%”. “Hardware, meanwhile, fell 11 per cent, with December market tumbling by a disappointing 28 per cent. 3DS and DS were the only formats to experience a month-on-month increase in sales”. Playstation 3-D, Sony’s actually is attempting to bring 3-D to people for a full 3-D television for only $499.99, with a set of glasses. With that said the screen will only be 24’inches, diagonal. Before this big hit it was the Xbox 360 Kinect. With the kinect you can stand in front of your television screen and whatever you wanted the game to do you would just literally have to move your body. Apple is a market who has overhauled the iPad in hopes of staying ahead of the rivals who introduced tablet computers. An iPad 2 includes the front and back camera that allows you to video conversations, not only that but they came in black and white versions. The new iPad’s 3G will be supporting AT&T and Verizon. If we were making a BCG about analyzing the game market; Ps3 would be the Cash Cow; xBox 360 would be the Dog; Sony would be the question mark; and iPad would be the star.

Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service

As for me great customer service is like having someone there to hear what you have to say and help you with what you need help with. They're with you no matter what. Every question that you have, they're going to answer it. They have to be nice. They have to be willing to hear what you have to say. As a consumer walking into buckle, I wasn't expecting much service, due to lack of communication and team effort from previous visits. This one day in particular I was just browsing the store to see what I could find.
Buckle jeans are sized differently then most other stores. So I was a little confused on what size I was with their brand. That's when a sales associate, by the name of Chelsea came up to me and asked if I was doing okay. To which I responded with, "No, I'm not sure what size I am in your guys jeans!" I remember her having a great attitude and personality, like she actually enjoyed helping customers.
She suggested I try on a few of the jeans to see which design I liked best and helped me find what I was looking for.
While I was in the dressing room, Chelsea was busy on the floor looking for the jeans that would suit me best. She then came to my door and said, "Erika, I found some jeans that I think you would like! I'll hang them on the door so you can try them on!"
This experience was memorable to me because I've never been treated so kindly while shopping. It was like I had my own personal fashion consultant.

As a Fashion marketing professional, I see Fashion as a way of expressing an individual’s personality. I love to discover different styles and start new trends. I have a passion for Fashion and I absolutely love different styles I’m more into the 50’s – 90’s look, along with Urban, Retro, & Vintage. I love it when my shoes stand out when I’m wearing matching outfits. I got into fashion when I was about eleven-years-old. I fell in love with the city and lights of Nevada Las Vegas when I was twelve-years-old. I knew I wanted to study fashion and learn more about it when I took a running start college class in high school. I’m a student that has very high expectations for myself. I wonderful personality I'm very open-minded I’m very creative, honest and friendly. I’m originally from Washington State, graduated from Toppenish high moved to Vegas a month after. I will peruse my dream and be come better and better at every step I take. With this blog I will share fashion trends, designs, insights on fashion and social media. - EAM
